General Information
- Religious Education/PSR Program: Classes began on Sunday, September 17, 2023. NOTE: ALL CLASSES are being held at the School of Religion.
- Sacremental Prep: 9th Grade students not attending Catholic School should be enrolled in Confirmation 1. Parents, please ensure that you have enrolled your child. Your child will not be able to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation without completing Confirmation 1.
- PLEASE ENSURE THAT ALL FIRST COMMUNION, CONFIRMATION I AND CONFIRMATION II STUDENTS HAVE MET ALL REQUIREMENTS AS OUTLINED below.

ST. CATHERINE OF SIENNA PSR PROGRAM FOR SACRAMENTAL PREP
All students/candidates must complete a registration application. All students must be baptized.
First Communion Candidates: The child must be 7 years old on or by December 31st and have attended instruction regularly 1st Communion I & II (1st and 2nd grades) during the 2023-24 school yr. (required). Instruction not received at St. Catherine will require written verification. Baptismal certificate should be submitted if the child was not baptized at St. Catherine. Documentation is needed if attending a Catholic School.
Confirmation Candidates - The student must be enrolled and attending regularly. If your child is attending Catholic School, documentation is needed and the student is required to attend all meetings or retreats. Instruction for Confirmation I (9th grade) Confirmation II (10-12th grades) requirements: your child MUST complete both in order to receive the Sacrament. Confirmation at St. Catherine is yearly, or due to constraints by the Diocese, your child may receive the Sacrament every other year.
Please note: If your child has completed Confirmation I & Confirmation II and is waiting to Confirm they must return to school to complete assessments. If your child enrolled after passing the 9th grade and has not been confirmed, he/she is still required to complete the requirements of Confirmation I & II before receiving Confirmation. Any exceptions will require written permission from the Pastor. Class is for 1 hour a week with your child. It is imperative that your child attends class on time. He/she must also attend Mass & study all prayers and lessons with you at home. Classes are held on Sundays and will begin promptly at 10:45 am and end at Noon.
